Final rays of summer

No matter how we look at it Summer of 2009 is fast coming to an end ! We have had quite a bit of rain and thunderstorms here in Denmark lately.
I came across the adorable Emma in her bathing suit last night when I was looking through my stamps.

three challanges = one card

I went to a crop yesterday at my friend Heidi's house, there were 6 of us and let me tell you we had a blast. Didn't know more then a couple of the girls before hand, but it's so amazing how easy it is to talk to someone new, as long as you have paper, adhesive and stickers near you:-)

I managed to get a couple of cards done, some I can't show you yet BUT this one I can show you.

copic colour challange meets Basic Grey challange

Since I won ( YEAHH- thanks girls ) last weeks challange over at http://www.copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/ there is no way I am gonna miss this weeks challange there to use the following colors

I have been using a lot of basic grey papers lately and when I saw the sketch over at http://basicgreychallenges.blogspot.com/ I had to try it.

I used the adorable image of the baby Lion sadly it's now retired but it is still possible to get it from Victoria case( see link on the right) if you email her.

How about this little hottie? she is BIG and BEAUTIFUL :-) how can one NOT love her ?
She is a digi stamp fromVictoria Case, she is part of a new collection of pluz sized pin ups. I'ts wonderful to see something more naturel rather then the usual stick figure pin up.

Victoria Case stamp challange

The challange over at http://www.vcstampchallenges.blogspot.com/ is to use, light blue, dark blue and ivory.


I had a blast doing this one, wrecked the two first images cause I couldn't stay within the lines. Right hand is still a bit shaky at time - is getting better tho !

Speed challange

I took part in a speed challange tonight over at PCP, in the Victoria Case group. Jana posted two challanges, first one to use light blue, lavender, light yellow. Second challange was to use BLIIING.

In order to get both done, I made a card with bling... okay when do I not put bling on a card.

Ohhh FYI, never use a heat gun over bling... appearently they are not real diamants LOL

I added some flowers and now the card can be entered in the challange over at http://aspoonfullofsugarchallenge.blogspot.com/ here the challange is FLORAL FRENZY !

hmmm now that I look at the card again, I realize it's almost retro: paper is REALLY old and the prima flowers are the very first prima flowers I got. They are the ones that come in a milk bottle, you remember when we used to search high and low to find them ?

this is one of my favorite cards, I love this image ( Victoria Case )and I really like the colors.

My "something other then a card" is a little cardbox I made a while back. I like to make these boxes they are fabulous hostess gifts and they are a lot fo fun to make.
