last Victoria Case challange in 2009

It is with a heavy heart that I write and post this card. I have LOVED every minute that I have been with Victoria Case Designs it has been a journey and a funfilled experience. I have made some AMAZING friends - you know who you are- I am so grateful for the chance Victoria and her team gave me. You girls are without a doubt the sweetest and most caring girls I have ever met... and before I get all weepy eyed here we better get back to what this post was starting with.
The last challange in 2009, it's a color challange, we looooove color challanges right :-)
this one was pretty open it's called BLACK TIE AFFAIR.
For some reason I started thinking Black/white photos. This is what I ended up with.

it's a color challange

ohhh what a nice change of colors :-) this week the color challange over at Victoria case challange blog the colors are Blue, white and Yellow/gold

For the life of me I don't know why the image and the entire card looks all crooked... it's not IRL I SWEAR !*S*

First snow

It's only appropriate that I finish this card today, since we woke up to a teeny tiny bit of snow this morning. this image is called First snow and it's by the super talented Karen. I had so much fun with this image and adding marvy uchida Snow Marker to all the snow :-)

Elephantastic Digi release

Victoria Case has done it once again. another adorable digi release is seing the day today.
I felt like doing something a little different and I saw this great tissue holder tutorial on WOJ tutorial blog I had to give it a try.
Loving this little Elephant perfect for baby cards too I think.

Expressions of love challange

I found this really great digi stamp company FairylandDreams digistamps and there is a fantastic challange this week HERE if you're fast you can still enter on time. any entry on the challange is a winner and gets' to choose an image in the store. Doesn't get better then that does it ?
I made a little box(4x4) and made a bunch of gift tags to put on presents, it's the season after all :-) not gonna tell here who get's the box as I kow she might read this :-)

When Victoria sent me this image i know I had to use her for a holiday related card, after all this one is called SHOPPING *S*

This post was supposed to have been posted yesterday, but our TV exploded more or less and all the power went out for a couple of hours and then ...well then I was just TIRED !! Scary !!

it sure has been quiet here the past week !! Have been down with the flu, and it's take a lot longer then I thought for it to loosen it's grib in me. HOPE it's over now, I had my fair share of flu's this season.

There are differnitely some of my favorite colors. I really like blue I am one of those people who when in doubt always turn to blue :-)
When doing this card... I realized that I hardly ever use my blues. That will have to change !!
this card is made for one of my all time favorite Challanges, the Victoria Case Designs challange. it was one of the first challanges I entered and being on Victorias team is such a thrill. Not only do I get to see some of these adorable images before the rest of you, but I also got to know and become friends with some fantastic girls. Just wanted to let these girls know how much I appreciate them.

This week the challange over at Victoria Case is a color challange. Don't you think color challanges are fun ? The colors are : dark brown, red and ivory. Not really sure how well I did with the ivory part - ohh well...
