hopeless late...

I sure hope what they say about better being late then not arriving at all is true ! seems like I am late for everything these days ! My post for Karen's Doodles should have gone up a couple of hours ago... but well... it didn't !!

BUT it's here now !
I used an oldie but a goldie for this oneOllie the Ostrich for this weeks Bookmark challange. The bookmark was created really fast, doesn't have a lot of detail but I didn't think the library would like if I added too much to the book mark that can mess up their books :-)

polka dots

This week the challange over at Karen's Doodle's Challange the challange is POLKA DOTS !! Awesome I thought... until I realized I didn't have any polka dot pattern papers... I know it's really bad when you find out you're out of a specific paper LOL Better go shoppin SOON !!

When i saw the other girls' cards I had to gigle a little, turns out a lot of us ahve chosen Shower Lady to work with. She is awesome I think :-) one of those images that's just FUN to color. There is also another shower image called Shower Girl I think this might by Shower Lady's Sister LOL

Karen's Doodles Challange no 24

TH this week at Karen's Doodles Challangeis a first for me I think, I don't think I have ever down a challange before where the theme is ANIMALS but it was fun. Like a lot of people I too like animals and with Karen's adorable digi stamps it's not hard to find a cute image to work with.

Monday means a new challange with the new Karen's Doodles Challange blog once again the challange is hosted by the super talented Joey McKelvey and this week the challange is a super fun one, was hard but fun:-)
The challange is called summer zest - yellow, Orange, lime green and a splash of blue color challange. sounded easy enough but did cause me a little trouble. I do like the result however :-)
I used one of the super fun new dancing ladies this one is called Dance fever Lady 2

today is another new release day for Squigglefly lots of new images of different kind and style. I choose this little witch, she reminds me of my Daughter when she was younger, not that she as a witch LOL but just just reminds me of her:-)

Christmas in .. well August

Can you belive how fast time goes by ? I can't believe that we're already half way through 2010 !
Today is a somewhat sad day as I have just posted the last ever winners of Karen's Doodles Scandinavian challange Winners. SO if you joined last week, go see if you're one of the lucky winners.

I had fun coloring this image, it's one of Karen's new christmas images, the image is called Santa's House I had fun adding all kinds of little things here. Lots of GLitter, lots of Snow and shine to the image.

Today is the day !!

yeaaahhh today is the day !! what day you ask ? it's the launch of the new and combined Karen's Doodles Challange blog

We have combined members from our Scandinavian, United Kingdom and United States blogs to create a brand new team. Challenges will still be on Mondays with three chances to win.
But we are changing things a bit, the first place winner of 3 digi images of their choice from Karen's Doodles will be awarded to the person we feel did the best work. Our design team will vote on the entries for first place. They will also get a Karen's Doodles Card of the Week blinkie to display on their blog. Second and third place will still be awarded by Random.org. Winners will be announced on Tuesday's after the challenge ends to give the DT time to vote.
Also the Desing teamn members will be takin turns hosting the challanges and the first one is the SUPER talented Joey McKelvey

And now to my card :-) it's one of those cards that came together in what seemed like minutes, don't you just love those ? Sometimes things just work out PERFECTLY !
I used one of the newer images Dragon Birthday isn't he a cutie ? Almost makes me wish I had a bunch of little boys to make birthday invations for LOL
