I have been a big fan of Sketchy Thursday for a really long time, but for the first time I have actually finished a page in time for the challange deadline !!there is a first for everything right ?
The Challange was to use the sketch ( duuuhhh ) and in addition this time you've supposed to use something about ready.... what to do ?? always turn to my favorite books. Winnie the pooh, and I knew just the quote to use from " a Blustery Day"

jeg har været en stor fan afSketchy Thursday i rigtig lang tid, men for første gang har jeg rent faktisk fået gjort et layout færdigt før deadlinen !! Der er en første gang for alt ikke ?
Udfordringen var at bruge sketchen ( halllooo)og i tillæg til det denne gang skulle der temaet/ være noget fra Litteratur.... hvad skulle jeg lige finde på ? jo når alt andet fejler så tyr jeg til min favorit bog, Peter Plys. Og jeg vidste straks at jeg skulle bruge et citat fra " En Blæsende Dag"

there is NOTHING like a good sketch to get your mojo going. And the one my friend Kirsten did for crafty sketches is just that !
A GREAT sketch
Usually I just scrap Ninna ( just wait I got LOOOOADS of baby pics of young miss Hannah coming soon) but this time I found a picture of our cat Knips.

Der er ikke noget som en god sketch der kan få ens Mojo igang igen. Og den sketch some min venKirsten har lavet til crafty sketches er lige præcis det, en super god sketch. Normalt scrapper jeg kun Ninna( bare vent jeg har MASSER af baby billeder af unge frk. Hannah på vej. Men denne gang faldt jeg over et billede a vores kat Knips.

It's HOT around here

and when it's Hot outside, I stay INSIDE !! Don't do heat and sun too well... and I got the sunbrun to show *S*
I find that when mojo is in need of being kickstarted, I always turn to challanges; I decided to give the challange over at ScrapFit a go. It was pretty easy as I was already working on this layout and adding a Banner seemed to fit the page I think.

og når det er varmt ude, så rykker jeg ind ! Jeg er ikke god til det der med varme og sol og har skoldningen der viser det !! Når jeg ikke har mojo så virker det altid at tage en tur rundt og kigge udfordringer, jeg faldt over udordringen ovre på Scrapfit jeg var allerede igang med det her layout og at sætte et banner på virkede helt naturligt.

woohooo I did it !! I finished a layout... took me a while but I did it !!!
I may not have been creative or active but I have been keeping an eye out and tried to keep up with what's going on ! When I saw the sketch over at the pagemaps blog I finally got around to DOING !!!

Jubiii, jeg har endelig gjort det !!!! Jeg har gjort et layout færdigt, tog for evigt men jeg har gjort det færdigt. Selvom jeg ikke har været hverken kreativ eller aktiv her, så har jeg forsøgt at holde øje med hvad der sker rundt omkring, og da jeg så den her sketch fra PageMaps bloggen fik jeg endelig taget mig sammen !!!

This being super duper pregnant must have set off my mojo because I have been scrapbooking like crazy that past couple of days. here are a few of the pages I have made.

a little update

Soon January is coming to an end, not that I mind it's been a long month on a lot of levels. I have been put on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy, and the days are LOOOONG sometimes. I have bee cheating a little and have been scrapping in my "up right hours" I have quit the A4 pages they were driving me NUTS I am and will always be a 12x12 girl. *S*
Once I got the 12x12 paper out seemed like my creativity came back and it feels GOOD !!!

pretty simple but it's a start *S* really old paper from my stash but it's been forever since I last bought new paper. And I want to get rid of some of it before I go out and buy more... yes I must be getting old with that kind of thinking :-)

Found the background all cut up and adhered together.... wonder what the original idea had been... *S* Think I rescued the pretty BG papers fairly well.

I'M BACK !!!!

I am back... well sort of !!
I haven't been making any cards at all for months now, lost all my mojo :( and the fact that sitting down due to my growing belly had gotten harder and harder it's not been much fun.
I know with the new baby coming there will be LOTS and LOTS of pictures to scrap and I gotta admit as much as I love to make cards, scrapbooking is my first love. So dug up some old pictures of Ninna... turned out they are really old as they go back to 2007... about time I get them adhered to paper right ??

Want a new recipe ?

I am not too fond of cooking but I like a new recipe from time to time. However todays recipe isn't about cooking:

another day another challange

Another week has gone by... and well I haven't gotten much done... what can I say ?
Nothing really don't know where the days go !!!
Todays card is for this weeks challange over at Karen's Doodles challange and the theme is halloween.
We don't celebrate Halloween here, well we have a few decorations but NOTHING compared to what's in the US. It's one of the holidays that I really miss from when I lived in New York. I LOOOOVED halloween and Thanksgiving.
Anyways here is my card:

My fave number !

THis week the challange over at the Karen's Doodles Challange blog the challange is to use 7 of something. 7 is my fave number ! Lots of reasons, married on the 7th, daughter is born on the 7th. this is my 7th. home and I feel more at home here then any other place. there are lots more number 7's in my life that makes me belive 7 is my lucky number. Will be fun to see if the new baby will be born on the 7th. too :-)
I used one of the older images from Karen's Doodles. the image is called on the run I really like this one, it's one of the really great teen images I have seen. I know for myself I tend to go for the Über Cute rather then teen images, but this one is a really fun image, both on a card but also to color.

criss cross with a delay

Ooops I am late posting this !! Hope better late then never counts this once :-)
THis week the challange over at Karen's Doodles is to create a Criss cross card. they are always fun.
This card...is a collaboration between mY 7 year old and myself. She helped make the card or actually cards as we have made 16( so far) of these. She is totally inlove with Panda Bears so this image was her choice for her Birthday invitations. I have to agree with her Amanda Panda is a really cute bear :-)

Pretty in Pink

I think it's time that I appologize for being absent lately. It's been way too quiet around here ! the reason is that I am SO SO tired and if I am not sleeping I am laying on the couch trying to get the strength to get up and go to bed :-) No before anyone starts to get worried about me, the reason is a Happy one ! I am pregnant !! Yes we're having another baby, and We're thrilled !! I am not due until Mid March so just past the 12 week mark. but ohh boy is it different and HARDER to be pregnant now then it was 8 years ago ! I can differnitely feel that my poor body is older ! Eventhought I am in way better shape now then I was when I was pregnant with Ninna.
Anyways just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth... well I guess I kind of have since I sleep most of the time :-)

the challange over at Karen's Doodles Challang is a fun one ! PRETTY in PINK and I loooove pink :-)But once again I came to the realization that my paper collection desperately needs help !!! I NEED TO GO SHOPPING :-)

BUT it's here now !
I used an oldie but a goldie for this oneOllie the Ostrich for this weeks Bookmark challange. The bookmark was created really fast, doesn't have a lot of detail but I didn't think the library would like if I added too much to the book mark that can mess up their books :-)

This week the challange over at Karen's Doodle's Challange the challange is POLKA DOTS !! Awesome I thought... until I realized I didn't have any polka dot pattern papers... I know it's really bad when you find out you're out of a specific paper LOL Better go shoppin SOON !!

When i saw the other girls' cards I had to gigle a little, turns out a lot of us ahve chosen Shower Lady to work with. She is awesome I think :-) one of those images that's just FUN to color. There is also another shower image called Shower Girl I think this might by Shower Lady's Sister LOL

Karen's Doodles Challange no 24

TH this week at Karen's Doodles Challangeis a first for me I think, I don't think I have ever down a challange before where the theme is ANIMALS but it was fun. Like a lot of people I too like animals and with Karen's adorable digi stamps it's not hard to find a cute image to work with.
