I have been a big fan of Sketchy Thursday for a really long time, but for the first time I have actually finished a page in time for the challange deadline !!there is a first for everything right ?
The Challange was to use the sketch ( duuuhhh ) and in addition this time you've supposed to use something about ready.... what to do ?? always turn to my favorite books. Winnie the pooh, and I knew just the quote to use from " a Blustery Day"

jeg har været en stor fan afSketchy Thursday i rigtig lang tid, men for første gang har jeg rent faktisk fået gjort et layout færdigt før deadlinen !! Der er en første gang for alt ikke ?
Udfordringen var at bruge sketchen ( halllooo)og i tillæg til det denne gang skulle der temaet/ være noget fra Litteratur.... hvad skulle jeg lige finde på ? jo når alt andet fejler så tyr jeg til min favorit bog, Peter Plys. Og jeg vidste straks at jeg skulle bruge et citat fra " En Blæsende Dag"

Usually I just scrap Ninna ( just wait I got LOOOOADS of baby pics of young miss Hannah coming soon) but this time I found a picture of our cat Knips.

Der er ikke noget som en god sketch der kan få ens Mojo igang igen. Og den sketch some min venKirsten har lavet til crafty sketches er lige præcis det, en super god sketch. Normalt scrapper jeg kun Ninna( bare vent jeg har MASSER af baby billeder af unge frk. Hannah på vej. Men denne gang faldt jeg over et billede a vores kat Knips.

It's HOT around here

and when it's Hot outside, I stay INSIDE !! Don't do heat and sun too well... and I got the sunbrun to show *S*
I find that when mojo is in need of being kickstarted, I always turn to challanges; I decided to give the challange over at ScrapFit a go. It was pretty easy as I was already working on this layout and adding a Banner seemed to fit the page I think.

og når det er varmt ude, så rykker jeg ind ! Jeg er ikke god til det der med varme og sol og har skoldningen der viser det !! Når jeg ikke har mojo så virker det altid at tage en tur rundt og kigge udfordringer, jeg faldt over udordringen ovre på Scrapfit jeg var allerede igang med det her layout og at sætte et banner på virkede helt naturligt.

woohooo I did it !! I finished a layout... took me a while but I did it !!!
I may not have been creative or active but I have been keeping an eye out and tried to keep up with what's going on ! When I saw the sketch over at the pagemaps blog I finally got around to DOING !!!

Jubiii, jeg har endelig gjort det !!!! Jeg har gjort et layout færdigt, tog for evigt men jeg har gjort det færdigt. Selvom jeg ikke har været hverken kreativ eller aktiv her, så har jeg forsøgt at holde øje med hvad der sker rundt omkring, og da jeg så den her sketch fra PageMaps bloggen fik jeg endelig taget mig sammen !!!

Soon January is coming to an end, not that I mind it's been a long month on a lot of levels. I have been put on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy, and the days are LOOOONG sometimes. I have bee cheating a little and have been scrapping in my "up right hours" I have quit the A4 pages they were driving me NUTS I am and will always be a 12x12 girl. *S*
Once I got the 12x12 paper out seemed like my creativity came back and it feels GOOD !!!

pretty simple but it's a start *S* really old paper from my stash but it's been forever since I last bought new paper. And I want to get rid of some of it before I go out and buy more... yes I must be getting old with that kind of thinking :-)

Found the background all cut up and adhered together.... wonder what the original idea had been... *S* Think I rescued the pretty BG papers fairly well.

I am back... well sort of !!
I haven't been making any cards at all for months now, lost all my mojo :( and the fact that sitting down due to my growing belly had gotten harder and harder it's not been much fun.
I know with the new baby coming there will be LOTS and LOTS of pictures to scrap and I gotta admit as much as I love to make cards, scrapbooking is my first love. So dug up some old pictures of Ninna... turned out they are really old as they go back to 2007... about time I get them adhered to paper right ??

Another week has gone by... and well I haven't gotten much done... what can I say ?
Nothing really don't know where the days go !!!
Todays card is for this weeks challange over at Karen's Doodles challange and the theme is halloween.
We don't celebrate Halloween here, well we have a few decorations but NOTHING compared to what's in the US. It's one of the holidays that I really miss from when I lived in New York. I LOOOOVED halloween and Thanksgiving.

THis week the challange over at the Karen's Doodles Challange blog the challange is to use 7 of something. 7 is my fave number ! Lots of reasons, married on the 7th, daughter is born on the 7th. this is my 7th. home and I feel more at home here then any other place. there are lots more number 7's in my life that makes me belive 7 is my lucky number. Will be fun to see if the new baby will be born on the 7th. too :-)
I used one of the older images from Karen's Doodles. the image is called on the run I really like this one, it's one of the really great teen images I have seen. I know for myself I tend to go for the Über Cute rather then teen images, but this one is a really fun image, both on a card but also to color.

THis week the challange over at Karen's Doodles is to create a Criss cross card. they are always fun.
This card...is a collaboration between mY 7 year old and myself. She helped make the card or actually cards as we have made 16( so far) of these. She is totally inlove with Panda Bears so this image was her choice for her Birthday invitations. I have to agree with her Amanda Panda is a really cute bear :-)

I think it's time that I appologize for being absent lately. It's been way too quiet around here ! the reason is that I am SO SO tired and if I am not sleeping I am laying on the couch trying to get the strength to get up and go to bed :-) No before anyone starts to get worried about me, the reason is a Happy one ! I am pregnant !! Yes we're having another baby, and We're thrilled !! I am not due until Mid March so just past the 12 week mark. but ohh boy is it different and HARDER to be pregnant now then it was 8 years ago ! I can differnitely feel that my poor body is older ! Eventhought I am in way better shape now then I was when I was pregnant with Ninna.
Anyways just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth... well I guess I kind of have since I sleep most of the time :-)

I used an oldie but a goldie for this oneOllie the Ostrich for this weeks Bookmark challange. The bookmark was created really fast, doesn't have a lot of detail but I didn't think the library would like if I added too much to the book mark that can mess up their books :-)

yeaaahhh today is the day !! what day you ask ? it's the launch of the new and combined Karen's Doodles Challange blog

We have combined members from our Scandinavian, United Kingdom and United States blogs to create a brand new team. Challenges will still be on Mondays with three chances to win.
But we are changing things a bit, the first place winner of 3 digi images of their choice from Karen's Doodles will be awarded to the person we feel did the best work. Our design team will vote on the entries for first place. They will also get a Karen's Doodles Card of the Week blinkie to display on their blog. It's no secret that I am a BIG fan of Mo Manning and her images all can be found Here about a year ago I first discovered MO and her fabulous art and she drew my Daughter roller skating, see the image Ninna I love all the stamps Mo comes out with but so little time to color these days so I can't color as much as I would want to. But that's okay the ones I do get to color are the ones that are screaming my name :-)
This one differnitely did ! And after I had made the card I found out that it fits the current Challange at Mos digital challange the challange is paper piecing !

10 years ago today I married the Love of my life. It's be best and smartest thing I have ever done :-) but weird to think that it's already been 10 years... I don't feel any older...LOL

wow it's been so so so hot here in Denmark today, at one point it was too warm to be outside - something that doesn't happen very often in Denmark !
When I was sitting here in my craftroom I finished this card for the Squigglefly PCP party that's goingon right NOW !! there are freebies and there are AWESOME prizes to be won !! I strongly recommend going over there and join in the fun stuff !!!

I made the Squigglefly Team their digi stamps were some of the first ones I ever used and I have come back several times for new images. What I really like about them is that they have ALL KINDS of images and word art too. They have a SUPER ÜBER talented bunch of artists behind their images. YEAHHH I on my first week of vacation time for the summer !! it's been WONDERFUL ! so far not actually slept in, but the mere fact of knowing that I CAN is enough *S*
With time off also comes more time to do all the fun stuff in life, which for me is COLORING !!!
This week the theme over at Karen's Doodles Scandinavian challange is a color theme, the challange is to use GREEN - BLUE - YELLOW !! Fun colors right ?

Karen has come out with a bunch of adult images and this one came at a perfect time, as one of my very best friends just told me she is Preggo !! YEAAAHH congrats girl, you know who you are !!!
FYI for all the Danish Girls, this stamp also comes with a Danish text ! I already had this one printet and colored and made into a card when I got the Danish one... not to worry a Danish one is already in the making *S*

I made this card for the Challange over at Karen's Doodles Scandinavian challange is to use stitches, fake or real ! I love to sew on my cards so this one was an easy one for me.
Once again I have used one of Karen's Handsome MAN images, I really do love all the cute images but once in a while it's fun and a great change to do something more adult and these images are PERFECT for just that !

It was so nice to do something SUMMER because the weather here is COLD and windy and NOTHING like summer so it was really a nice change being able to do something with summer in mind. at least then one can dream of summer :-)

Last week a new challange over at Busy beauties Creation Station started, ( runs until the 19th.)
The challange is to use RED or BLUE or both. I love all colors... I am a colorful person what can I say LOL But Red and Blue are some of my all time faves when it comes to my wardrobe, and choosing colors, first car I had was red, my bike is blue my fave pair of sneakers are red, my fave purse is blue... I love red and blue :-)
I chose this adorable mushroom image for my card, the image just makes me happy, Carolyn and Thomas has once again outdone themselves.
Several of my Busy beauties friends are going though hard times, I just wanted to let them know that I am thinking of them and keeping them in my prayers. wish there was more I could do.

It's no denying it, it's spring, may be cold still BUT it is spring ! And with spring comes Confirmation at least if you live in Scandinavia.
This week the theme at Karen's Doodles Scandinavian challange is Confirmation or Holy Communioun. I made this Confirmation book, ( had to take the name and date of, as the girl I made this for might be looking here :-) )

Konfirmation time is coming fast

I know that some places in Denmark the first Konfirmations have already took place so we're in the midst of a busy and exciting season for the young teens.
This week over at Karen's Doodles Scandinavian Challange Nancy created a really cute sketch for us. I had to use the beautiful Dove image that Karen posted last week. I suppose you could used this image for other things then Konfirmation too, maybe a sympathy card. but luckily I don't need of those right now.

it's the most Beautiful spring day here. I cannot wait for full blown summer and sitting outside and color ! Until then I'll have to settle for coloring inside and go outside and get the yard ready :-)

Easter challange at Karen's Doodles

Easter is without a doubt my favorite holiday. Obe of the reasons is that I have a pretty big family with lots of cousins and aunts and uncles and every year on Easter Sunday we get together at my grandmothers house. Used to be a day where we'd all play outside get out all the "outside" toys again... but times have changed and now it's our kids that run around and play. Eventhough I am a bit older then the rest of my cousins We're all really close and Easter Sunday is something special for all of us.
So the weeks challange at Karen's Doodles Scandinavian challange was a fun one for me. I have been making several easter cards the past week so I decided it was time for somethin different. I made a little Easter basket and it's perfect for a little potted plant :-)

a special Valentines day card

My 7 year old loves animals and her dream is to be a zoo keeper... just not for the snakes *S* She also loves magic like most other 7 year old girls do and Unicorns are a favorite. We have unicorns in all shapes, sizes and colors at our house.
I know a Valentine's day card will be her favorite.Karen's Doodles put up a unicorn a little while ago and it's ... yes it is without a doubt THE cutest Unicorn I have ever seen :-)

I didn't do much coloring on the unicorn it self, but I added a bunch of glitter to her. on her fur and on her tale and mane, and to follow up on the magic theme I used my spica clear pen to add a little sparkle around her.

Dear blogfriends,

I know you all love to make cards so what's better than to do something we realy enjoy and make at the same time a little boy happy in the most difficult time of his young life? Daan is 4 jaar and has a brain tumor which is sadly enough incurable. More and more body functions fail such as his legs can't carry him anymore. At the moment he gets radiation because his parents and the doctors will make his life as easy as possible and ofcourse no one will loose hope! I think it is heartbreaking and I'm so sad that I can't do enything to help him! That's why I aks you girls to make him a funny card so he has something good to look forward to and I think it will help his parents and two (little) sisters as well. I also want to ask you to keep him in your prayers or send a little positive energy and thoughts to him, because you never know! Do you want to join in this small gesture, please send an e-mail to creatiefonline@upcmail.nl so I can send you the address you can send the card to. I like to thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Ik weet dat jullie het heerlijk vinden om kaarten te maken en wat is er dan mooier om met iets wat we heel graag doen een kleine jongen blij te maken tijdens de meest moeilijke strijd van zijn jonge leventje. Daan is 4 jaar en heeft een hersentumor die tot groot verdriet niet meer te genezen is. Steeds meer functies vallen uit, zo willen zijn beentjes hem niet meer dragen. Hij ondergaat op het moment bestralingen want natuurlijk doen zijn ouders en de artsen er alles aan om het leven voor hem zo dragelijk mogelijk te houden en wat helemaal begrijpelijk is, niemand wil de hoop opgeven. Ik vind het hartverscheurend en ik vind het verschrikkelijk om te moeten toezien en niets te kunnen doen! Daarom wil ik jullie allemaal vragen om alsjeblieft een leuke kaart voor hem te maken zodat hij iets fijns heeft om naar uit te kijken!! Ik denk dat ook zijn ouders en twee (kleine) zusjes hier steun uit kunnen halen. Daarnaast zou ik het fijn vinden als jullie positieve energie en gedachten naar hem willen sturen of een gebed aan hem willen wijden, je weet tenslotte maar nooit! have received many emails from loyal followers who have told me that people are sharing my images with each other. Some are purchasing them and others are receiving them as a Freebie and then sharing with friends or family to have a collection!

I am sending this Freebie as a reminder that it is NOT OK to share my images with your friends! I have the names, blogs and addresses of EVERYONE who has either purchased an image or received one as a freebie. That email proves that YOU are registered owner of that image. When you received the email, I included my Angel Policy which clearly says that these images are for your PERSONAL USE ONLY and not to be shared with anyone. You can print out a few copies so you can make cards with your children or grandchildren, that's OK. But anything else is illegal and unethical.

I am an artist and this is how I make my living! You are stealing money from me and other digi artists, when you share your images. It is also unfair to the many honest followers who DO purchase stamps from me. If this practice continues, I may be forced to stop selling my digi images rather than risk them being stolen.

Digi stamps are a new concept. I really think people who are doing this don't understand the damage they are doing to artists by digi sharing. I believe there is good in all people- so please- if you have either purchased an image from me or received a Freebie and shared it, call your friends immediately and tell them to either purchase the image or delete it, before Monday. YOU are responsible for your own image.

If you have received a shared image, purchase it NOW or delete it immediately. You must do this before Monday. People are purchasing images and I won't know the difference if you are a person who wants a new image or if you are "buying" your shared image. If you don't want to purchase your "shared" image then delete it and never use it again.

On Monday, I will begin the process of seeking out illegal images. If you are caught with one you won't be able to join in Challenges or purchase images from me in the future. Is it really worth it? I don't think so but it is up to you. Also on Monday, all of you followers who still want me to keep drawing Bigsby and Herbert, please email me at kdfollowers@gmail.com when you see a card posted with my image. I will check it against my list of Stamp Owners to see if it is from a registered owner.

With your help I hope we can bring an end to sharing digi images.

Jeg sender jer dette gratis stempel ( downloades på karen's doodles) for at huske jer på at det IKKE er okay at dele mine digi stempler med dine venner. Jeg har navne, blogadresser og adresser på ALLE som har enten købt eller modtaget et af mine stempler gratis. Den email beviser at du er den rettige ejer af netop det stempel.
Når du har modtaget denne email er min Angel policy vedhæftet og den siger klart og tydeligt at stemplet kun er til PERSONLIGT brug, og ikke må deles med nogen. Du må printet et par stykker som du kan bruge sammen med dine børn eller børnebørn, det er helt iorden. ALT andet er ulovligt og uetisk.

Jeg er kunstner og det er sådan jeg tjener til døfen. Du stjæler penge fra mig og andre digi kunstnere, når du deler mine stempler. Det er også unfair til de mange ærlige mennesker som køber mine stempler. Hvis det her fortsætter, så er jeg nød til at stoppe med at sælge mine stempler/billeder af frygt for at de bliver stjålet.

Digi stempler er et nyt koncept, og jeg tror virkelig at folk ikke forstår at den skade de gør ved de kunstnerer som de stjæler fra. Jeg tror på det gode i alle mennesker SÅ hvis du hvis du har købt eller modtaget et gratis stempel fra mig, og har delt det, så sig straks til dine venner at de enten selv skal købe det, eller slette det INDEN mandag d 1/2-2010. DU er ansvarlig for netop det stempel.

Hvis du har modtaget et stempel fra en ven, så køb det,eller slet det straks. Du skal gøre det inden mandag. Folk køber stempler og jeg vil ikke vide om du køber et nyt eller om du køber et delt stempel. Hvis du ikke vil købe stemplet SLET DET !!!

På mandag starter jeg med at lede efter stjålne stempler. Hvis du bliver fanget vil du ikke kunne deltage i nogen af vores mange udfordringer og konkurrencer. Og du vil heller ikke kunne købe flere stempler fra mig. Er det virkelig det værd ???

Jeg tror det ikke, men det er det er jo op til dig og din etik.

Fra mandag vil loyale følgere som vil have mig til at blive ved med at tegne Bigsby og Herbert, vær søde og email mig hvis du ser et kort på en blog, så vil jeg tjekke om det er et købt stempel. Jeg har en liste med ALLE som har købt og eller modtaget stempler fra mig.

Herbie and Bigsby looks like they are having a grand ol'e time sitting here in the forrest enjoying a great cup of coffee talking about old times, or maybe it's what's going on down by the riverbank or the hot Squirrel that moved in across the big oak *S*

pony love

I have said it before, but I'll say it again. I am a horselover, and in a big way. It's not cause I never got to outlive my dream of having my own pony. My dad bought my my first pony when I was 2 ! We have always had a lot of horses and my parents still do and I enjoy them very much.
So of course this adorable image called Pony Love by the über talented Karen's Doodles was posted I couldn't stop myself ! HAD TO HAVE IT :-)

The first release in 2010 from Busy Beauties Boutique is yet another outstanding release. there is something for every taste. The images are versatile and fun. I have had a ball coloring then this week.

It is with a heavy heart that I write and post this card. I have LOVED every minute that I have been with Victoria Case Designs it has been a journey and a funfilled experience. I have made some AMAZING friends - you know who you are- I am so grateful for the chance Victoria and her team gave me. You girls are without a doubt the sweetest and most caring girls I have ever met... and before I get all weepy eyed here we better get back to what this post was starting with.
The last challange in 2009, it's a color challange, we looooove color challanges right :-)
this one was pretty open it's called BLACK TIE AFFAIR.
For some reason I started thinking Black/white photos. This is what I ended up with.
